LOTR - Birch Huron

Almost complete, just some base details to add and it should be finished after that. The body of the Huron was formed from Sculpey iii, the rest is greenstuff and bits from Warhammer and LOTR. You can find a scale reference and some shots of the piece before it was painted here. Also a handy little tutorial that I used for painting rust can be found here.

LOTR - Orc Command

I've upgraded the Warg Rider to an Orc Shaman with the addition of a foot version converted using a pair of Mantic Ghoul legs.

LOTR - Goblin and Orc Conversions

Theres six orc warriors, one orc banner bearer, one Warg Rider, three Warg Marauders and a single mutilated Huron.

First Marauder conversion and Warg Rider.

Some w.i.p shot of the second Marauder.

Finished Marauders.

Orcs
Orcs, Although not entirely dim-witted and occasionally crafty, they are portrayed as miserable beings, hating everyone including themselves and their masters, whom they serve out of fear. They make no beautiful things, but rather design cunning devices made to hurt and destroy...

Huron.

LOTR - Easterling Warriors

The red cloth was painted using a method I thought might save some time but in the end took longer than expected. I had my doubts about these but they worked out in the end thankfully.

Up next for painting is the blue wizard and after him its some Haradrim warriors.

LOTR - Rhun and Harad

Part of my Rhun and Harad force which consists of The Serpent Lord, his giant bodyguard, a Dragon Knight, a Easterling War Priest, some Easterling and Haradrim warriors, and one soon to be blue wizard.

The Serpent Lord and giant were painted months ago. You can see more shots of the giant here. I just finished painting the Easterlings recently which were the first bit of panting I've done in a long time. The Easterling conversions come from 2013 as part of a sculpting challenge on the One-Ring forums.

I did note what colours were used on the Easterlings but its no guide. I'll be coming back to this when its time to paint the rest of the Easterling warriors.
